This quaint renovated 3 bedroom three star rated  farm cottage dating back to 1890, is home to resident axis deer and springbuck. Steeped in the history of past Anglo-Boer conflicts, it is now a tranquil getaway for Flora and Fauna enthusiasts.

The cottage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and sleeps 10. It is comfortably furnished and fully equipped for self-catering. Both Deer Cottage and Aloe Tented Camp are easily accessible by car.

RATES from 1 February 2012:
R230 per adult per night, thereafter extra R100 per person per night.
Children 6-13 years R115  per night and children 5 years stay for free.
Minimum charge of R1200 per night for 6 persons or less.

GENERAL INFO:

- 3 Bedrooms - sleeps 10 max / 2 bathrooms / bedding & towels supplied
- Solar power supply in use and gas geysers and stove
-Important: No toasters or microwave are supplied due to limited solar power.

- Bundles of wood are for sale
- A 50% deposit is required to secure a booking, the deposit is non-refundable
   should the booking be cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival.

Our water supply is from a nearby spring and borehole , so the water may be somewhat discoloured after rains.
Pool clarity is sometimes affected by natural forces beyond our control, such as rainfall and duststorms.


We have rainwater tanks as well, but please bring your own bottled water should you feel the need to.
