Main Page For Hunters only   HUNTING INFORMATION Bush Getaways invite you on a hunting safari in the Sundays River Valley, Greater Addo area in the malaria free Eastern Cape. The ranch is about 1 hour away from the friendly city of Port Elizabeth. The base camp, Intaba, is a 1500 hectare ranch where hunting will take place as well as on neighbouring ranches making it approximately 10 000 hectare of valley bushveld and karoo veld of quality hunting ground. We offer high standard accommodation at our luxurious mountain lodge with its breathtaking 360 degree mountain views or at the Aloe tented bush camp with its safari type tents. Intaba means 'mountain' in the Xhosa language. Most hunting is done by 'spot and stalk' and is fair chase. Hunters should be able to walk distances. Only a limited number of hunts are done annually at Intaba. This is to ensure top quality trophies. The emphasis will be on top quality trophies and not of quantity. Philip, the Professional Hunter and his team that will accompany you on your safari, has got many years of hunting experience in this area and will assure you of a memorable hunt. We require a 50% deposit to confirm your booking. In the case of hunting, a 50% deposit of the dayfee is required as well. Trophy fees are payable on all animals killed or wounded and lost, prior to departure. 14% Value Added Tax is payable on any animals, wounded and lost, or not exported We recommend reliable taxidermists.
